SCENE START
SETTING: A bedroom at night. Soft, warm lighting. THE
LISTENER (The Angel) is asleep or sitting by a window, looking out into the dark. We hear THE SPEAKER’S voice (Voiceover), deep and resonant, echoing their thoughts.
SOUND: The faint, rhythmic sound of galloping hooves in the distance, mixing with the sound of wind.
SPEAKER (V.O.) Under banners of gold… I ride for you. Through wind and storm. Through fire and shadow. I will ride until the gates of your heart finally open to me.
(Visual: The Listener touches a red rose sitting on a table near a flickering candle.)
SPEAKER (V.O.) Your castle waits. Red roses scattered like the trail I followed to find you. Candlelight dancing on your face.
(The sound of the wind dies down, replaced by a warm, steady hum/music.)
SPEAKER (V.O.) I am no tyrant. I am the knight who keeps the light. The one who guards your dreams… And rescues you from the ghosts of yesterday.
(Sound of hooves gets louder, stopping on stone—arrival.)
SPEAKER (V.O.) So when the night grows quiet, and you hear hooves against the stones… Know it is I. Your King. Your Knight. Coming to free you. (Beat) Again… and again.
